Welcome!

Our goal on this site is to encourage, promote, and keep you informed about Flint Hill's very own Empty Bowls event.

Now what is Empty Bowls?

Throughout the world, artists promote a project called Empty Bowls, designed to support charities for the hungry.

At Flint Hill, we hold an annual event in honor of Empty Bowls. At the event, we sell ceramic bowls made by members of the Flint Hill community and professional artists.

With a donation of $15, you receive a beautiful bowl and soup, provided by Fairfax Foods.

And MOST IMPORTANTLY, all proceeds benfit DC Central Kitchen!

And who is this "we?"

We are the Flint Hill Clay Club. We host Empty Bowls to create a sense of community centered around our love of clay and our desire to alleviate local hunger.
